For most of us, it's hard to understand just how powerful our minds are. How the thoughts that run through our brains all day long, actually have the power to create and change our lives, to help us reach and achieve our goals.
I've read that we have on average around 60,000 to 65,000 thoughts coming at as each day. That's a lot of thinking if you ask me.
And do you realize that the bulk of those thoughts tend to lean more toward the negative side? Someone makes us mad, or didn't do something we expected them to, we get stuck in traffic, behind someone driving too slow, we have too much to do, we work for someone we don't get along with well, the dog made a mess on the floor . . . AGAIN . . . . and on and on those negative thoughts go.
It's way more normal for our minds to think about what bothers us than to stay in a positive place. It almost seems easier to stay mad than it does to try and stay happy, do you agree?
But do you realize what all those negative thoughts do? They are actually attracting more and more negative thoughts until you get to the point of feeling completely overwhelmed and frustrated.
